01About the app
Beauty Memo helps you keep a personal history of cosmetic procedures, plan procedures, save notes and observations about results, and create reminders.
This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is stored, and how you can manage it.
02Information the app uses
The app stores information you enter or add yourself:
- your name and profile photo, if you choose to provide them;
- names, dates, and areas of completed or planned procedures;
- names of practitioners and clinics;
- names of products, volume or quantity, and cost;
- personal notes;
- result ratings, impressions, and recovery details;
- dates, times, and reminder settings.
This information may include health information and details of cosmetic procedures. You decide what your records contain. Optional fields can be left blank.
03How the information is used
Data is used on your device to display your profile, save your procedure history and plan, show records in the calendar, save observations and impressions, and create the reminders you choose.
Data is not used for advertising, tracking, or marketing profiles.
04Local storage and no transmission
Your procedure history, profile, notes, observations, and reminder settings are stored in the app’s local storage on your device.
The app does not send this information to servers or to other organizations. There is no remote access to your records.
The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics services that transmit user data off the device.
The app does not provide its own cloud sync. The operating system may include the app’s local data in a device backup, depending on your settings and the app’s configuration. Those backups are managed by Apple.
05Permissions and notifications
Profile photo. If you add an avatar, the app uses the image you choose to display your profile. It is not sent to anyone. Adding a photo is optional.
Notifications. With your permission, the app creates local notifications so you can rate a result and be reminded about the next procedure. Creating them does not require sending your procedure history to a server.
You can change permissions in your device settings. Turning notifications off does not stop you from saving your procedure history.
Notifications may include the procedure name and appear on the Lock Screen. You can limit how much of their content is shown in iOS Settings.
06Third parties
Your local records are not sold and are not shared with third parties.
Use of the App Store, system backups, and other Apple services is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy:
07Retention and deletion
Local records are kept until you delete them or delete the app from your device. You can view, edit, and delete records in the app.
Deleting the app removes its local data from the device. iOS Offload App can keep the data and is not the same as deleting the app.
Deleting local data does not automatically delete system backups that were already created. You manage those backups in Apple’s settings.
Because copies of your procedure history are not kept off the device, lost records cannot be restored or changed remotely on request.
08Protecting your data
The app uses local storage and the data-protection mechanisms provided by the operating system.
Protect your device with a passcode, and do not give other people access to it. Anyone with access to an unlocked device may be able to view records in the app.
09Support requests
If you write by email, that address receives the sender’s address and the contents of the message, including anything you choose to attach.
This information is used to reply and resolve your request. It is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations.
Your procedure history is not attached to the message automatically. Do not send health information or other sensitive data unless it is needed to resolve the question.
For privacy questions, and to ask for correspondence to be deleted, write to ciceronfrajman@gmail.com.
10Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app’s features or the ways data is used change. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this document.
If features that send data off the device are added in the future, this policy will be updated first, and any required notices and permissions will be in place before that transmission begins.
